Share Your Experiences
with Severe to Profound
Hearing Loss
We are inviting adults who have been diagnosed with severe to profound hearing loss, and caregivers of children who have been diagnosed with severe to profound hearing loss, to take part in a 30-minute online interview about their experiences and opinions. Those who qualify and complete the interview will receive a check for $125 as a thank you.
Who might be eligible to participate?
Adults
✓ You are 18 or older
✓ You live in the US
✓ You have been diagnosed with severe to profound hearing loss
✓ You have experienced difficulty hearing or understanding speech
✓ You use a hearing aid or cochlear implant
Caregivers of Children
✓ You are 18 or older
✓ You live in the US
✓ You care for a child under 18 with severe to profound hearing loss
✓ Your child has experienced difficulty hearing or understanding speech
Participation involves:
1. A brief online questionnaire to see if you qualify.
2. A 10-minute phone call with a member of our team to discuss next steps.
3. Confirmation of hearing loss diagnosis (this might include a screenshot from a medical record, a letter from your healthcare provider, etc.).
4. 30-minute interview with a healthcare researcher. The interview takes place online with video and caption options.

*Note: If you are both an adult with severe to profound hearing loss and a caregiver of a child with severe to profound hearing loss, please use the "Adults With Hearing Loss" form.
