We are searching for people to participate in a 60-minute virtual interview about their experiences with sickle cell disease (SCD). Those who qualify and complete the interview will receive a check for $125 as a thank you for their time.

You may be eligible to participate if:

• You have been diagnosed with sickle cell disease and are 18 or older

• You are the caregiver of a child ages 12-17 who has sickle cell disease

• You, or your child, have not received a stem cell transplant

​**While we are welcoming participants of all genders in this research, we are particularly interested in speaking with more male patients or caregivers as our current sample is underrepresented.

 

The feedback shared in the interviews will be used to help researchers better understand the daily impact SCD has on people's lives and how they make decisions about treatment and care.
